I've been playing around with Causal loop diagrams and I found this really simple and awesome online tool that generates animated models, called Loopy. One important tool within Systems thinking is the Causal loop diagram, which visualizes the elements within a system and the positive and negative reinforcements between them. It shows us that there are no perfect solutions, just more informed decisions. It helps us to consider trade-offs to make better choices, and ask better questions before jumping to conclusions. Examples of a system are a team, an organization, an ecosystem and even the human body and politics. Systems thinking can be used to view problems in new ways, by being aware of multiple parts in a system and how they affect each other.
